Stalking A Cool vest or now I am a Papparazzi!

Ok, Now I am a papparazzi!
I was at the theater going in to see a movie with my daughter, and there is this young lady in front of me, with this cool crochet garment. NOW, I wanted to stop her so I could get a better photo of her, but of course, she was in a hurry to get to her theater, and my daughter would've died of embarrassment.....

So, I ran after her.. This was the best I could do. I am so sorry it is shakey but wow..isn't it just cool!?

More Kool Aid!

Left to right:

Cherry (not Kool Aid but mix packet from Ralphs), Lime, Pink Lemonade, Lemonade (yellow) and Strawberry (pink)

I am going to be doing more varigated skeins! I like the variation. I am hang drying the skeins in my garage, but today would've been a great day to hang them outside but I started this too late in the day. This is really something that I would love to do in the spring (ON MY DAY OFF! and start this in the morning so it will dry!)

I just realized, I am missing purple (grape, which I did buy some) and Blue (berry blue), and Orange!

I also bought some natural LION Fisherman's wool to try this out as well!

Kool Aid Yarn!

I was at CHA and saw how fun this was, and thought, I really want to try this! I am not sure what I am going to do with the dyed wol that I have right now, but lately, my motto is "Don't sweat the little things!".

This is what they showed us. I loved the bright festive colors!

I used Deb Stoller's "full O' Sheep" 100% Peruvian wool. It has a nice sheen to it and very soft!

This is my wool that I dyed! I think it came out pretty good! I used Lime (green) and Pink Lemonade. I bought bunch of different flavors of Kool Aid, so stay tuned to see what else I am going to create! It is very easy, and as long as you follow the instructions on knitty.com (link above) you'll get the same results!

Favorites on Etsy - not made by me, but you gotta check it out!!!
